The Farm Inn Restaurant serves simple, unpretentious home cooked meals. Where ever possible we use organic, fresh produce from our kitchen garden and farm. The open air restaurant and bar is shaded by trees where a variety of birds and Yucatan squirrels are often spotted. Breakfast is included in your room charge and consists of toast or fryjacks, eggs, fruit and coffee.
We can supply bag lunches for tours, although we would recommend our guests visit one of the local restaurants in Big Falls or Punta Gorda to support other businesses. For guests remaining on site for the day we do a light lunch by arrangement.
Dinner reservations are required. Our meals are an interesting fusion of Belizean and African cuisine. Dinners are mostly prepared over an open fire in our outdoor kitchen and we specialize in meals prepared in a 3 legged cast iron pot - if you have not yet had the pleasure of eating one of these slow cooked "potjies", your taste buds are in for a treat.
A "potjie" (translated: little pot) usually contains either beef or chicken with fresh vegetables which are added to the pot slowly and in stages. These delicious meals are served with rice and salads.
The Farm Inn Restaurant is fully licensed and offers local beers, a variety of wines, local and imported spirits.
Come and enjoy the beautiful peaceful surroundings - go for a walk along the creek before dinner and then sit back, relax and enjoy your meal.
We can cater for small groups and special occasions such as corporate team building, weddings and birthdays.
We are adaptable and try to accommodate special diets. Vegans and vegetarians are welcome - just give us advance warning.
